Privacy and Cookie Policy
This Privacy and Cookie Policy relates to the processing of data that you have provided or that has otherwise been acquired during your visit to the website www.ismecitalia.com (hereinafter “the Site”) or through the use of the company contacts provided on the Site, in accordance with European Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter “the Regulation”).
1. DATA CONTROLLER AND CONTACT DETAILS
Pursuant to Article 4 of the Regulation, the Data Controller is ISMEC S.r.l. (hereinafter “the Controller”), with its registered office at Via Rossano, 42 loc. Belvedere – 36056 TEZZE SUL BRENTA (VI).
For any information or to exercise the rights referred to in Section 6, the Controller can be contacted as follows:
-
Telephone: 0424 861021
-
Email: info@ismecitalia.com
2. CATEGORIES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
2.1 Navigation Data
The IT systems and software procedures responsible for operating the Site automatically acquire, during their normal functioning, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. These are pieces of information that are not collected to be associated with identified individuals, but which, by their very nature, could—through processing and association with data held by third parties—allow the identification of users. This category includes, for example, the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the Site; the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources; the time of the request; the method used to submit the request to the server; the size of the file returned in response; the numerical status code provided by the server (e.g., success, error); and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computing environment.
These data are used in order to:
-
Derive anonymous statistical information about the use of the Site;
-
Monitor and control the usage of the Site, identifying anomalies and/or abuses;
-
Determine liability in the event of potential cybercrimes affecting the Site or third parties.
This processing is justified by the need to enable the functionality of the Site following the user’s access.
2.2 Data Provided by the User
The collection of personal data from users may occur voluntarily through the sending of emails to the addresses provided on the Site and/or through fillable forms available on the Site. This results in the collection, by the Controller, of the sender’s email address (necessary for responding to the request) as well as any other personal data voluntarily provided in the communication.
The personal data collected in this way will be used by the Controller solely for the purpose of:
-
a) Providing the information and/or services requested via the company contacts and any subsequent related communications;
-
b) Allowing access to the restricted area with the assigned credentials for the subsequent download of specific technical documentation.
The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject. The provision of such data is necessary to achieve these purposes.
2.3 Cookies
Cookies allow a website to remember the actions and preferences of the user (such as login details, chosen language, font size, and other display settings) so that these do not have to be re-entered when the user revisits the Site or navigates from one page to another. Therefore, cookies are used to perform digital authentication, monitor sessions, and store information regarding the activities of users accessing a site. They may also contain a unique identifying code that tracks the user's navigation within the Site for statistical or advertising purposes.
Certain operations could not be performed without the use of cookies, which in some cases are technically necessary for the proper functioning of the Site.
During a visit to a website, the user may also receive cookies on their computer or mobile device from sites or web servers other than the one being visited (so-called “third-party cookies”). A common example of a third-party cookie is Google Analytics, whose privacy information provided by Google can be viewed at:
http://www.google.com/intl/en/analytics/privacyoverview.html
Two main categories of cookies are identified:
A. Technical Cookies
These cookies are used solely to transmit communications over an electronic network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. In other words, these cookies are indispensable for the operation of the Site or necessary to perform user-requested activities. Their installation does not require the prior consent of the user, although users must be informed of their use. Technical cookies will therefore always be used and sent, unless the user changes the settings in their browser.
They can be subdivided into:
-
a) Navigation or Session Cookies: Ensure normal navigation and use of the website (e.g., enabling authentication to access restricted areas);
-
b) Analysis Cookies (Cookie Analytics): Considered technical cookies when used directly by the Site manager to collect aggregated information on the number of users and how they visit the Site, as well as to understand which parts or elements are most appreciated;
-
c) Functionality Cookies: Allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) to enhance the service provided.
Technical cookies can be:
-
Persistent: Not destroyed when the browser is closed, but remain until a predetermined expiration date.
-
Session Cookies: Destroyed each time the browser is closed.
B. Profiling Cookies
Profiling cookies are intended to create profiles related to the user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user during web navigation. Due to the particularly intrusive nature of these devices in the user’s private sphere, European and Italian legislation requires that the user be adequately informed of their use and provide valid consent.

At any time, the user may refuse to accept all or some of the cookies used by this website by selecting the appropriate settings in their browser. Each browser has its own specific configuration instructions. Further information on how to disable cookies can be found on the website of your browser provider:
