Ismec Strengthens Its Partnership with GE Vernova

On June 30, 2026, a small Ismec delegation composed of Daniele Zanivan, Sales Manager, and Gianni Baggio, CEO of Ismec, was invited to GE Vernova’s headquarters in Rugby, UK, to take part in a three-day series of strategic and commercial meetings . The event brought together customers, suppliers, and partners from different areas of the industrial value chain, creating an important opportunity for discussion on future projects in the power generation sector.

In a context shaped by increasingly demanding energy challenges, GE Vernova is leading major initiatives aimed at supporting more independent, efficient, and sustainable energy production and management. For Ismec, active participation in this dialogue represented an important step in strengthening its role as a reliable partner for high-precision machining and large-component manufacturing.

The discussions focused on the need to provide efficient, technically solid, and timely responses to projects that will have a significant impact on evolution, industrial development, safety, and long-term sustainability. Ismec’s contribution fits into this vision: supporting complex energy infrastructure through precision, reliability, and manufacturing expertise.

Ismec is "Supplier of the Year": Strategy and Ethics behind the Award

The message shared during the meetings was clear: GE Vernova is looking for strategic partners able to support its growth. As highlighted by Mr. McLennan (MS-PCS Northern Europe) the future of the supply chain will be defined by collaboration, operational excellence, and sustainable value creation for a stronger industrial ecosystem than ever.

These principles are closely aligned with Ismec’s way of working: a model based on technical reliability, shared responsibility, responsiveness, and long-term partnerships.

Gianni's Remarks following the "Supplier of the Year" Nomination at PULSE 2026:

During the PULSE 2026 event, ISMEC is Mechanics received the most prestigious recognition: “Supplier of the Year”.

This is a 360-degree appreciation of the way we work, the way we support our customers, and the way we face complex challenges every day.

[ ... ]

A recognition of this kind does not reward a single capability. It belongs to those who remain focused when deadlines become difficult. To those who solve problems instead of moving them elsewhere. To those who know that technical expertise matters, but that reliability, responsiveness, and proactivity matter just as much.

So it rewards our way of working as a whole.

An approach that I like to define in one word: Win⁴, “win to the fourth power”.

This concept represents the foundation of my way of doing business. A supplier does not win if the customer loses. A customer does not win if the end user is not satisfied. A company does not win if its partners and employees are not supported.

Four circles connected to each other: ISMEC, our customer, the end customer, and our suppliers.

If one of these becomes unstable, the entire chain becomes weaker. If they support each other, value grows for everyone.

For me, this means “closing the circle.” Moving beyond the old idea that someone must lose in order for someone else to win. And building an entrepreneurial philosophy based on respect, shared responsibility, and mutual support.

 [ ... ]

Because there is also a fifth circle. The largest one. But that deserves a separate post.
